Privacy Policy

How SolvTako, as data controller, processes your personal data: what we collect, for which purposes and legal bases, for how long, and the rights available to you.

Effective date: 2026-07-03 · Last updated: 2026-07-03 · support@solvtako.com

1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected through SolvTako is SolvTako, S.L. (Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada), Spanish Tax ID (NIF) B88978887, with registered office at Avenida Ribados, 14B, 2C, 15670, Culleredo, A Coruña, España, operator of the SolvTako application and website, a marketplace that facilitates contact between people who offer and people who seek local services.

You may contact the controller on data protection matters at privacy@solvtako.com. For general support enquiries you may use support@solvtako.com.

2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we process the personal data of registered users, website visitors and anyone who communicates with us. It forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions and must be read together with them and with the Cookies Policy.

Services agreed between users are provided privately between them; SolvTako acts solely as a technological intermediary and is not a party to those agreements. Each user is responsible for its own processing of any third-party personal data it may obtain through the platform.

3. Personal data we process

We process only the personal data necessary to provide the service, applying the principles of data minimisation and purpose limitation. Depending on how you interact with the platform, we may process the categories of data described in the following sections.

4. Registration, account and identity data

When you create an account we process your name, email address, preferred language and access credentials. Authentication is handled through our Keycloak-based identity provider; passwords are stored solely as cryptographic digests (salted hashes) and never in clear text.

Where the platform offers identity verification (KYC) processes, we may process the related data and verification status. Such verification, where it exists, is partial or optional and does not constitute a guarantee as to the conduct, solvency or suitability of any user.

5. Profile, listings and activity data

We process the information you add to your profile (for example, photo or avatar, biography and languages), the content of your job offer or service request listings, their categories, prices and conditions, and your activity on the platform, including the ratings and references you give or receive.

6. Location and address data

To display relevant listings and search results we process approximate location data, saved addresses and the search or service radius you configure. Other users are shown approximate location or distance information, and never your exact address.

7. Messaging, ratings and communications data

We process the messages you exchange with other users within the platform, ratings and references, the notifications we send you and your communications with our support team. This content may be reviewed for moderation, safety and fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Subscription, payment and in-app purchase data

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We process your subscription status, the plan you hold and the features enabled. We do not process your full card or payment-method details, which are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

9. Technical, analytics and security data

We process technical data such as device type, language, IP address and the activity logs generated for security, abuse-prevention and service-maintenance purposes. We may use privacy-friendly analytics solutions that do not directly identify the user.

10. Purposes of processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate your access to the service.
  • To enable the publication of offers and requests and contact between users.
  • To provide the messaging, ratings and notification systems.
  • To manage subscriptions, plans and premium features purchased in the app stores.
  • To manage organisations, their members and licence assignment.
  • To ensure security, prevent fraud, abuse and misuse, and moderate content.
  • To handle your support enquiries and requests to exercise your rights.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • To improve and maintain the service through aggregated analytics.

11. Data visible to other users

Certain information is visible to other users as part of how the marketplace works, in particular your public name or alias, your profile photo or avatar, your listings and their conditions, your ratings and references and approximate location or distance information. We do not display your exact address, your email address or your credentials.

12. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share it with providers acting as processors that supply us with infrastructure and hosting services (for example, cloud providers), app distribution and payment services (Apple and Google) and communications or analytics services. These providers process data on our instructions and under the corresponding contracts.

We may also disclose data to authorities and courts where there is a legal obligation or where it is necessary for the defence of legal claims.

13. Information security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, storage of passwords as salted hashes and access control. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Minors

The service is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we detect that an account has been created in the name of a minor, we will delete it.

16. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described and, thereafter, for the periods required by applicable law or for the defence of possible claims.

As a guide, following an account deletion request we delete or anonymise the data within 1 month, extendable by 2 further months where the complexity or number of requests justifies it, in which case we will inform you of the extension.

17. International data transfers

Some of our providers may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (for example, cloud infrastructure providers, or Apple and Google for app distribution and payments). Where this occurs, we ensure the transfer relies on a valid mechanism under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, together with additional safeguards where necessary.

18. Your rights

Under the conditions provided by law, you may exercise the following rights:

To exercise these rights, write to us at privacy@solvtako.com indicating the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you for additional information to verify your identity. If you consider that we have not properly handled your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or with the supervisory authority of your place of habitual residence in the European Union.

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure or deletion of your data.
  • Objection to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Portability of the data you have provided to us.
  • Withdrawal of previously given consent, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Complaint to the competent supervisory authority.

19. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you. Certain features, such as the ordering of search results, are based on relevance criteria and do not replace your decision to contact or contract with another user.

20. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect regulatory, technical or service changes. We will publish the version in force with its effective date and, where the change is material, we will inform you through appropriate means.

21. Privacy contact

For any question about this policy or the processing of your data, and to exercise your rights, you may write to privacy@solvtako.com. This policy took effect on 2026-07-03.
